Best Evidence has a host of videographic services designed to meet the specific needs of trial attorneys; from on-site and deposition videography, to full digital editing and high volume tape duplication. Once we have converted your video to a digital format, the clips can be presented in PowerPoint, Director, or any other multimedia presentation package.
Video to Text Syncing
This system was designed specifically to assist attorneys in rebutting surprise testimony from witnesses by allowing on-the-fly transcript searching.
Best Evidence provides access to the entire deposition bank over the Internet, giving claims professionals the ability to better analyze the demeanor of key deponents in the evaluation stages of the case.
Digital Video Editing
At Best Evidence, we use state-of-the-art digital video editing hardware and software. We are able to capture and burn to and from many tape formats, both analog and digital, including S-VHS, VHS, Hi8, "C" format VHS and S-VHS, MPEG, and DV. Beta SP is just a phone call away.
Titles, graphics, and if needed, special video cropping & enhancing is no problem at all. Our video professionals have a full compliment of industry standard hardware, software, and utilities to get the job done to your specific needs and requirements.
Media Clips and Video Depositions
Once the editing is complete, we can either burn the finished presentation to tape or convert it to one of four main digital video formats and put it on CD or DVD:
- MPEG
- AVI
- Quicktime
- WMV
This process enables the user to view the video footage on his/her computer and allows Best Evidence to both:
- Insert the video clips into multimedia presentation packages such as PowerPoint and Director and,
- Sync the video to transcripts and present them in legal presentation packages such as Second Chair and Summation.
Video Duplication
At Best Evidence, we understand that there are sometimes many parties involved with a particular case; each one wants a copy of the mock trial or deposition yesterday.
Best Evidence employs a full time duplication station able to produce 12 copies (8 VHS and 4 SVHS) in one pass. Our capabilities include all of the major tape formats including: S-VHS, VHS, Hi8, "C" format VHS, MPEG, and DV. Beta SP is still just a phone call away.
