Plaintiff Wins Verdict in Negligence Suit

A Gainesville jury awarded a plaintiff verdict of $450,000 in a negligence case involving allegations of sexual abuse of a disabled woman by a group home employee. Jurors found the Association for Retarded Citizens of Alachua County negligent in returning a man to work after being accused of rape by a resident.
